3. Caistor Lakes Leisure Park

Address:
Caistor Lakes Leisure Park
Brigg Road
Caistor
LN7 6RX

Fishing facilities: Now open from 8 am daily

Caravan site: Open from 5th July 2020

Situated off the A46 in Lincolnshire, this adults-only award-winning site offers three well-stocked fishing lakes.

The specimen carp lake holds two fifties, the record being 51lb 12 oz. The specimen lake was recently stocked in 2016 with 62 carp from 17lbs to over 51lb and, at just 1.5 acres in size, hooking a monster here feels more achievable than fishing a vast reservoir.

With one of the best night fishing setups we've come across built into every peg is low lighting, twin socket power supply and inbuilt LED light for landing the big one without the need for a head torch.

If carp fishing is not your thing then try the Leisure lake, which holds a variety of course species namely: ide, bream, tench, barbel, carp, ghost carp, crucian carp, perch, chub, roach and gudgeon or alternatively there is also a match lake where the site organises regular match fishing competitions.

The site has top-quality amenities, too. There’s a wealth of access paths that are fully gravelled, making them suitable for disabled visitors. When the action is over you can enjoy the site's other facilities, including a restaurant, a bar, a grocery shop and free Wi-Fi access across the site.

But the biggest sell of all? Caistor Lakes has recently introduced a ‘Lakeaway’ service, delivering food directly to you while you fish. Bliss.
