It is not as expensive to holiday in Paris as some motorhome insurance policyholders may think, an expert has highlighted.
Transport in particular is affordable throughout the city, noted Veronique Potelet Anty from the Paris Office du Tourisme et des Congres.
"The Parisian metro and bus system is affordable and enables people to visit the whole city easily," she explained.
Ms Potelet Anty highlighted that there are also many free museums in Paris on the first Sunday of every month, which makes a trip to the city even more affordable.
She added that some attractions are free to enter all year round.
According to research from hotel booking website Octopus Travel, the most popular destinations booked for July and August were Paris, London and Barcelona.
Paris saw a 115 per cent increase in bookings for June, compared to the same period of last year.
