Caravan insurance customers with an interest in arts and crafts may want to consider a trip to Cumbria later this year.
The Prom Art event on August 29th in Grange-over-Sands is a free exhibition of paintings, crafts and other artworks, lined along a 600-metre stretch of the resort town's Edwardian promenade.
More than 120 artists will be exhibiting their works and selling them to interested parties - with amateurs joining professionals in the display there is bound to be artwork to suit every taste and pocket.
In addition to the art, the area is home to a number of designated places of outstanding natural beauty, with unique rare seabirds and wildlife on offer for visitors to see.
The Arnside & Silverdale area of outstanding natural beauty hosts the Westmorland County show on September 9th.
Also worth noting for caravan insurance customers is nearby Ulverston, the birthplace of Stan Laurel, one half of Laurel and Hardy.
The town now houses a museum honouring the work of the calamitous duo.
